1. Who operates this extension
The Extension is published in a personal capacity by Harres-hub, the individual Chrome Web Store publisher using the display name haorunyu.19970717. Privacy and support contact: haorunyu.19970717@bytedance.com.
This policy covers the Extension's processing, not TikTok's independent operation of its platform. The Extension uses the host's existing TikTok Shop session and does not require a separate Extension account.
2. Information used to provide the features
- Configuration: activity replies, keywords and associated replies, scheduled comments, custom templates, feature switches, intervals and density settings are stored in local Chrome Extension storage to remember and apply your choices.
- LIVE information: relevant viewer comments, display names, user and message identifiers, host identifier, event types and timing are read from the dashboard and its existing live-message callbacks. They are processed in page memory to address replies, match keywords, identify viewer comments, avoid duplicate processing, queue replies and measure comment density.
- Activity events: viewer joins, follows, completed payments and add-to-cart events trigger enabled replies. The reply logic identifies the event and viewer; it does not require card details, payment credentials, payment methods or amounts.
- Page context: language and current dashboard information are used to select the interface language, identify the supported page and obtain the LIVE room ID.
- Outgoing comments: the Extension fills and submits comments through the dashboard. The text may include an
@display name. TikTok receives submitted comments, which may be visible to LIVE viewers.
Site access is limited to https://shop.tiktok.com/*. Automatic commenting runs on the supported LIVE dashboard; other TikTok Shop pages support page/language detection and editing saved settings. The Extension does not request browser-history or cookie permissions and does not contain functionality to collect passwords or card details.
3. Usage analytics includes message content
Tea function. Events can contain configured text and sent comments, including display names. The events include:
- Opening the connected Extension: its version and interface/event labels.
- Successfully applying saved settings: enabled activity reply text, keyword/reply rules and enabled scheduled-comment text.
- Saving or using a template: the template text.
- A send detected as successful: the sending feature, final comment text and current room ID.
I use these analytics to understand how the Extension's features are used and improve those features. I am the person who reviews the Extension's usage analytics for this purpose. The Extension does not operate a separate analytics transport; the existing dashboard service handles delivery and may attach its own platform context.
Version 2.4.3 does not have a separate analytics opt-out switch. Turning off scheduled comments or one reply feature is not a global analytics opt-out. Do not put passwords, payment credentials or confidential information in replies or templates.
4. Recipients and purposes
Configuration is stored locally, but the text included in analytics also goes to the existing TikTok Shop dashboard analytics service and is available to me for the purpose described above. TikTok processes comments submitted through its dashboard, and LIVE viewers may see those comments. The Extension does not use Chrome's storage.sync API to synchronize configuration.
If you email the contact address, I receive your email address, message and any attachments through the support mailbox and its email service provider to handle your request. Please avoid sending unnecessary personal information.
5. Retention and deletion
Extension usage analytics is retained for one month and then deleted. This retention rule applies to the Extension analytics used by me, including any copies I keep. It does not set the retention period for TikTok's independent platform records or GitHub's website security logs.
Local configuration and templates remain until edited, removed where supported, or cleared. Removing the Extension clears its local Chrome storage. Clearing normal browser history does not necessarily clear Extension storage. Temporary message-processing state ends when the dashboard page is closed or reloaded; the Extension does not maintain a persistent local archive of incoming LIVE chat.
Support correspondence is kept as needed to handle your request and related follow-up. You can request access, correction or deletion of information I handle by contacting the privacy email above. I will handle requests subject to applicable legal obligations. TikTok-held content may also require TikTok's own privacy controls or support channels.
Uninstalling the Extension does not retract posted comments or by itself erase previously transmitted analytics.
6. Controls and security
You can edit saved text and independently disable each automation feature. Save changes and check the dashboard-application confirmation. To stop Extension activity completely, disable or remove it in Chrome and reload or close open LIVE dashboard pages.
The Extension is restricted to the HTTPS TikTok Shop site. Local configuration uses Chrome storage without an additional encryption layer implemented by the Extension. Protect your browser profile and device. No system can guarantee absolute security.
7. Limited Use
My use and transfer of information obtained through the Extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Information is used to provide or improve the Extension's disclosed features and related operation. It is not sold or used for personalized, retargeted or interest-based advertising, unrelated profiling or credit/lending decisions. Transfers and human access are limited to circumstances allowed by that policy, including anonymized, aggregated internal operations and permitted support, security or legal needs.
8. This policy website
This page is hosted on GitHub Pages and can be read without signing in. It contains no publisher-added analytics, advertisements, forms or third-party embeds. GitHub logs visitors' IP addresses for security when serving Pages. That website hosting is separate from the Extension's LIVE processing. See GitHub's Pages data-collection explanation and GitHub's Privacy Statement.
9. Changes and contact
Updates will appear at this policy URL with an updated effective date. Material changes to data practices will receive any notices and consent required before taking effect. For privacy questions or requests, contact haorunyu.19970717@bytedance.com.
